THE SPOTLIGHT BOX (ALSO KNOWN AS THE LIGHT BOX)

Take a break in the afternoon with a cup of hot tea

This ritual is a bit advanced, yet simple because you don’t  need a thing to pull it off. It is a powerful tool to seek justice  for yourself or others. This requires self-forgiveness and the  forgiveness of others to work the best but start from where  you are.  70 1. Go someplace quiet where you can concentrate without  disturbance. Relax into meditation and use the box breathing  or any other wonderful breathing technique you’re partial  to and get into a higher brain pattern with the intention for  peace and balance. 2. Take a moment to consider the things in your life you  wouldn’t want this light set upon. Remember the Goddess  of Justice is blindfolded, universal law after all… FORGIVE  yourself and ALL others. Including this attacker. (Please see  Ho'oponopono later in this book.)  You DO NOT have to inventory all the things that you feel  guilty about! In fact, please don’t even try. You’re simply  finding a sacred space of grace that can only come from being  in forgiveness. It doesn’t even have to last. If you can only do  it to cast this mental spell for a few minutes, you’ve done it.  This is why magic is a practice.  From this grounded, humble space, you can offer yourself  purely into the Spotlight Box Ritual with grace and authority.  3. Shield yourself in an impenetrable field of personal White  Light energy. This is your auric and light body field. It’s  always there so it’s a natural truth that you may simply need  to remind yourself of if you’re not used to acknowledging it.  This is for your own peace of mind should you feel anxious  once you link with the perpetrator.  71 4. Mentally/energetically find the attacker. Envision them  and get a clear picture. If you know their name all the better,  but if you don’t, simply follow the energy from the victim  back to the perpetrator. Remember this is all in your mind’s  eye and through the universal energy that connects us all.  5. Encase them in a mirrored box that they cannot escape  and then shine the biggest, brightest, most high-wattage  Universal White Light spotlight of light on them that they are  so stunned and cannot even move to escape. In your mind’s  eye, see this spotlight follow them around everywhere they  try to go if they do move. It’s trained on their signature now. 6. Close that box up and seal it with love for yourself, your  friend, and the moron in the box. After all, you’re doing this  to help the attacker find his or her own inner peace. Hurt  people hurt people, and sealing the box with compassion  closes the cycle with the power of the Ouroboros.  As we grow our consciousness, we become more balanced  individuals less prone to judgment. Eventually, we journey  what we judge, so growing into the higher wisdom to stand  in truth without judgment but with compassionate action for  the sake of peace, we become potent vessels for balance and  order. The Universe will feel the rise in vibration and take  notice. It will conspire to help you.  72 I witnessed the attempted murder of a neighbor once and  did the Light Box Spotlight immediately after the attacker  fled the scene. The box I imagined him in was so perfect and  so well lit that there was nowhere for him to go. I also acted  and called in the description of the car I saw him flee in into  the police. What turned out to be a stranger to the victim  was caught within hours. Maybe I had nothing to do with his  arrest, but it gave me a healthy thing to do when I was feeling  helpless. It allowed me to take my power back from fear. And  maybe I did help give the situation the nudge it needed. In  all of our practices, taking action when action is presented  is the vehicle for change. If you’re casting to find a new job  but never look on the job boards, you can’t say that magic has  failed you.
