SOUL SOOTHE OIL

For my oil enthusiasts, here is a great blend to calm the nerves and soothe the soul. I always suggest a high-grade, medicinal-quality oil because the body quickly metabolizes these through the skin. So many brands in today’s market are full of synthetics and things that have no business in healing. While I personally use the Young Living brand, this isn’t a commercial for them. It’s what works best for me. If you have a really good, pure oil you love, go for it. 131 Balsam copaiba resin – This is a fabulous oil for its antiinflammatory, analgesic, and antiseptic properties as well as its ability to help foster a connection with your community and the natural and supernatural world around you. It helps give one a sense of grounding and protection and it will open your roots for stability. Vanilla – This delicious bit of heaven is an old staple for personal empowerment, amazing luck, calming, soothing, and nurturing the soul. It’s probably found in just about every good love potion and creates a space, like a pause in time, for us to catch our breath. Cedarwood – Cedarwood lends us confidence and personal empowerment. It soothes that one poor, frayed nerve you have left and helps repair the rest of them. It helps the neuron sheathing and promotes brain function while fostering security with a high-frequency shield ability. Lavender – This is so often used that I must make sure I don’t subconsciously discount it. I won’t belabor what you probably already know. Every soothing thing that can be done for us seems to be in this versatile little flower’s job description. I recommend you not to overdo it. A little goes a long way. Hyssop – A magical powerhouse oil that I love for making radical shifts, this diamond of herbs has been used as medicine for the gallbladder, liver, and gut. It has also been 132 used to control and command spirits, and in the Bible, it was used for exorcisms. I suspect that when illness in the bowels and liver is alleviated, the snarly grouch dealing with those issues is relieved, so that would make sense. 1. Gather your oils and use either a pipette or drop-pour bottle to blend them into a 10 mL roller bottle. I love to mix crystal chips in my roller bottles, and you can find ones where the roller is made from crystal, too. Rose quartz is always a great option for this, but feel free to run with it if a particular crystal calls to you. Below is a suggested ratio, but if you have a special affinity (or sensitivity) for one or another, make the blend work for you. If you want it really strong, you can double the recipe. 10 Drops Copaiba – 5 Drops Vanilla – 7 Drops Cedarwood 3 Drops Lavender – 6 Drops Hyssop 2. You can add your favorite high-quality carrier oil. I use a blend, but use whatever high-quality oil that you love here. 3. Tighten the bottle, flip it over, and with all the intention of your Highest Sorceress(or), tap it 77 times on the bottom. 4. When you use it on your skin, aim for the heart, points along the meridians and wrist. 133 If you are sensitive to smells and incense, you can just put a little in your hair and allow the gentle whiff every so often to work your olfactory senses. Health comes through the frequency. It doesn’t take a lot to work a lot.
